Scott Gibbard

With nearly three decades of experience in management consulting, engineering, and product development in the US and Canada, Scott’s primary focus is partnering with our clients in North America and Europe to help them derive maximum value from the Verity solution. Scott holds an MBA from Cornell University and an MSc from the University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies (UTIAS).

CO-FOUNDER, COO & BOARD DIRECTOR

Markus Waibel

Markus co-founded Verity in 2014 with Raffaello D’Andrea and Markus Hehn. He is also a co-founder of the non-profit ROBOTS Association and its flagship publication Robohub.org, an online platform that brings together leading communicators in robotics research, education, start-ups, and business from around the world. In 2018 he became the first president of Switzerland’s Drone Industry Association. He has won numerous startup awards, including selection as a finalist in the 2008 PICNIC Green Challenge with a multi-travel startup aimed at reducing CO2e emissions.

Solutions Consultant

Mark Armbrust

Mark is the responsible Solutions Consultant for the US market at Verity. In this role, he supports customers to determine the optimal way to automate inventory management using Verity’s solution. Mark is an experienced Sales Professional who strives to educate clients on their industry and new products/services while understanding their challenges and building lasting relationships. "I build consensus within organizations and teams to deliver innovative outcomes for all customers" - Mark Armbrust.

Account Manager

Lenzy Rimensberger

Lenzy is responsible for a wide range of business development activities at Verity while being the main point of contact for new customers and partnership queries. He has 5+ years of experience in business development and sales, spanning across Financial Institutions, Manufacturing, Technology, Energy, Retail, and Logistics. Passionate about technology and entrepreneurship, he spends most of his free time facilitating tech entrepreneurship and education in Africa. He holds a bachelor in International Management from Zurich University of Applied Sciences.

Solutions Consultant

Stefan Niederhauser

Stefan is the responsible Solutions Consultant for Europe at Verity. In this role, he supports customers to determine the optimal way to automate inventory management using Verity’s solution. Prior to Verity, he worked in Automotive, Energy, and Manufacturing in Europe as well as in the United States. He has 10 years of experience in engineering and sales, bringing projects from early feasibility study to successful deployment. Stefan holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the ETH Zurich.

Head of Business Development

Martina Hansen

Martina leads business development activities at Verity, focusing on commercial scaling and execution. She has 12 years of investment and operational experience, with an emphasis on autonomous systems. Martina joined Verity from Covariant AI, a Silicon Valley robotics company, where she was responsible for growing the European business. She started her career in investment banking at UBS in the Media & Telecom Group in New York City before joining Blackstone’s Alternative Asset Management Group. Martina holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and B.A. in economics from Columbia University.
